This Privacy Policy describes how A Special Batch collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use our platform.
1. Data We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and order details. We also collect usage data: anonymous page-view counts (using a code that changes every day instead of your IP address) and, only if you accept analytics on our cookie banner, product analytics including the pages you visit and the actions you take.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to: process and fulfill orders, manage your account, communicate with you about your orders, improve our platform, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data based on: contract performance (order fulfillment), legitimate interest (platform security and improvement, and anonymous page-view counts), and consent (optional analytics and marketing communications).
4. Data Sharing
We share your data only with the people and services needed to run the platform: the creator whose storefront you order from (name, address, phone and order details, for fulfillment); Stripe (payment processing — card details go directly to Stripe); Supabase (sign-in, database and file storage, including photos you upload with a custom order); Vercel (hosting and, if you accept analytics, web analytics); Resend (sending order and account emails); HeyCatch (product analytics on our own website and sign-up pages — in your browser only if you accept analytics); Anthropic (only the text a creator submits to our AI writing assistant); geocode.maps.co and OpenRouteService (a delivery address or its map coordinates, when a creator plans delivery routes); USPS (postal codes, to quote shipping); Vimeo and YouTube (your IP address, when a page with an embedded video loads); and Google Fonts (a creator's IP address, when exporting a PDF). We do not sell your personal data.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Order records are retained for tax and legal compliance purposes even after account deletion.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, data portability, and object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
7. For Brazilian Users (LGPD)
Under Brazil's LGPD, you have the right to: confirmation of data processing, access to your data, correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, anonymization or deletion of unnecessary data, data portability, information about shared data, and withdrawal of consent. We will respond to requests within 15 days.
8. Cookies
We use essential storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart and run checkout. Analytics (Vercel Web Analytics and HeyCatch) load only if you press Accept on our cookie banner; if you press Reject, or have not chosen yet, they do not load. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of our pages.
9. Children's Privacy
Our platform is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers.
